Rehabilitating a historic building

In 1999, in NN we purchased the iconic building known as La Rotonda or Andreu Tower, which is almost 11,000 m2. In fact, the initial renovations were planned for after 2003, when the lease agreement that Sant Gervasi Hospital had with the Andreu family, the owners of the building until then, was due to expire.

In 2010, the project for the renovation and expansion of the original building planned to convert it into offices, retail spaces, and parking areas. The project by Alfredo Arribas Arquitectos Asociados has committed to the recovery of the building, rescuing and protecting the original volume and main facades, restoring them as much as possible. Based on the building's historical significance and the memory of the city, all elements that were representative of the original modernist building from 1906 have been preserved.

A truly ambitious project in the current times, which could only be undertaken by a group with our experience: with decades of activity in fields such as housing, offices, retail spaces, rehabilitation, parking, or hotels.

After six years of restoration, La Rotonda once again shone with its own light in September 2016, when the facade and the small temple lighting marked the end of the building's rehabilitation.
