Who is Maria Llovet?
María Llovet is a multidisciplinary artist from Barcelona. Her style is rooted in Japanese comics but is influenced by European art and the fashion world. She has published several works for the international market, such as Heartbeat or Insecto (Norma Editorial) and is currently producing series for the United States. There’s nothing there, Loud and Faithless are her latest works.
‘One of the things I’ve always liked about the city of Barcelona are its emblematic buildings, the Modernist architecture, etc. So when we were asked to do a wall of the city of Barcelona, I thought it would be interesting to base it on that, on its buildings’.
