Danide is an illustrator and cartoonist. He studied Production in Graphic Arts Industries at the Escola Antoni Algueró. His works include Fagocitosis (Glénat, 2011) and Potlatch (Norma, 2013) with scripts by Marcos Prior, and two comics nominated for the Barcelona Comic Book Awards as the best national work.
‘I’ve tried to make the wall look nice but I’ve steered away from the image of Barcelona with its monuments, and I’ve drawn washing hanging on balconies. I’ve drawn a lot of exposed brick walls because for me it’s the most iconic image of Barcelona and that's how I love Barcelona, the real Barcelona’.
