The best photos of La Rotonda on Instagram will be rewarded!
An Instagram contest is being launched where, using the hashtag #MiraLaRotonda, the best photos taken by users of this social network of La Rotonda, the iconic Andreu tower, will be awarded. #MiraLaRotonda by day and by night
Núñez y Navarro will award the best daytime photograph with a Nikon reflex camera and a drone, valued at around 1,000 euros, and will grant the author of the best nighttime snapshot a two-night stay plus dinner and lunch in a suite at the Hotel 1898 of NN Hotels, valued at 2,500 euros. All Instagram users over the age of 18 can participate in the contest from July 10th until November 2nd, September 18th. The posted photos must tag the @GROUPNN account and include the hashtag #MiraLaRotonda. Each participant can upload as many photos as they wish; the number of 'likes' or comments a work receives will not be taken into account for its valuation. Photomontages, collages, or image painting techniques will not be accepted.The verdict, at the end of SeptemberThe jury will be composed of Toni Mateu, photographer; Silvia Omedes, president of the Photographic Social Vision Foundation; and Daniel Zafra Masriera, Marketing Director of Núñez y Navarro. The alternates are Alfredo Arribas (Alfredo Arribas Arquitectos Asociados), Carles Patrís (Chârles), and Sílvia Rubió (Orbyce). They will issue a verdict between September 26th and 30th. Six years of work have been invested in the rehabilitation of the modernist facade and temple of the symbolic building. The action has allowed the construction to regain, a century later, its original modernist appearance from 1906. The building will be used for offices, premises, and parking; the works will be completed in September; subsequently, open days will be announced.
