Parking in Barcelona, mission (almost) impossible

In large cities like Barcelona, getting around is quite a challenge; especially by car: traffic jams, hold-ups, collapses, congestions... they're unbearable! But parking in the big city is even more so. Trying is a challenge. Succeeding is an unequivocal triumph: a victory.

Where should I put it?

15% of Barcelona residents' journeys are made by car. It may seem small, but it translates into an enormous volume of trips, considering that we are, just in the strict sense of Barcelona—the municipality—, 1.6 million inhabitants. In some—many—areas and times, finding a space for the vehicle is almost an impossible task.

It is assumed that public transport is the best alternative, but often it does not fully adapt to our needs considering the schedules or the exact areas where we want to go. Moreover, how many times have we been affected by delays or strikes, or even both at the same time? This very summer, again and again, we have been affected by strikes of trains, subways, and buses:
