Fernando Jurado: “visiting a show flat greatly influences the decision to purchase a property”

One of the main promotions of the Núñez i Navarro Group is the one we have in the center of Mataró. To make it known, last April 14th we organized an Open House Day where we invited you to discover a new way of living in Mataró. Quality homes in a prime location with all the services and conveniences of the city center, just 10 minutes from the sea and a stone's throw from the swimming pool.

To find out how the event went and to learn a little more about this great opportunity, we spoke with Fernando Jurado, the commercial manager of the promotion. With more than 20 years in the Group, no one better than him and his team to address the curiosities of the more than 50 families attending the event.

Tell us, Fernando. How has the experience been?

The truth is that it was quite positive, as there was a significant influx of contacts. A good indication of this is that throughout the 4 hours of the event, the sales team was quite busy. We even had three additional staff members. The communication campaign carried out in media such as Tot Mataró, Capgròs, or Idealista worked very well. Most of the attendees were from Mataró and had learned about the event through these channels. There was also a large turnout of attendees who came through an internal marketing campaign conducted via email, which had a significant impact. And, of course, neighbors from the area also came to learn about the promotion.

Why is it important to hold an open house? Do you think these types of activities influence the purchasing decision?

Without a doubt. Visiting a show apartment has a huge influence. Families were pleasantly surprised to see empty apartments and the decoration. Consider that it is much more convenient for them to visit a designer-decorated apartment together, which already includes all the details. It makes it easier for them to imagine the rooms.

What is the customer profile?

The most common profile is that of middle-aged individuals who need to sell their current home to access ours. There is also a significant number of young people and investors, although the latter are already looking for a much more specific product such as a one or two-bedroom home to capitalize on.

What are the reasons for those middle-aged people looking for an apartment at Pizarro, 82?

One of the reasons could be that in Barcelona housing is more expensive. In fact, we receive some clients from there. But it also happens that they are people who are living here in Mataró or in the Maresme and want to live in the city center. Our development is in a very central and well-connected area, ten minutes away from the sea and shopping centers.

What were the features of the apartment they showed at the open house?

We are showing a ground floor apartment of 70 sqm with two bedrooms and also includes a patio of 23 sqm. It is priced at 285,000 euros, which is perfect. We also showcased a model on the top floor with three bedrooms. In addition, we have shown others like an 81 sqm apartment with two bedrooms.

Which one do you think attracts the most attention and what did the attendees value?

Without a doubt, the show apartment, located on the second floor. It has 70 m2 and is valued at 216,000 euros. What people liked the most, in general, were the high-quality finishes, and the communal area on the rooftop. Many have also shown interest in the parking spaces and storage rooms.

What is the status of the promotion at Pizarro, 82?

We currently have 25 out of the total 48 homes available. There is one with one bedroom, three with three bedrooms, and 21 with two bedrooms.

How do people value the existence of a community pool?

People like having this space. It's a unique value to be in the center of Mataró with a rooftop pool. Moreover, it's an 8x5 meter pool, and it has space for sunbathing. Some might think that this will lead to higher expenses, but the truth is it doesn't because there are 48 homes.

Are the apartments equipped?

Yes, they are equipped with appliances such as a washing machine, dryer, air conditioning, microwave, ceramic hob, extractor hood, etc. The only things not included are the refrigerator and dishwasher. Otherwise, it's top-of-the-line equipment. It should also be noted that the building is energy efficient. 60% of the energy used to heat the water comes from the solar panels located on the rooftop.
